Python Developer for Innovative Project in the Media Industry (Remote)

The client seeks a Python Developer to join an innovative project focused on building automated data collection systems for large-scale data. This is a fully remote role, allowing the developer to work from anywhere while collaborating closely with a full development team based in the UK, AI consultants, and data scientists.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with AI consultants, data scientists, and a UK-based development team to design, develop, and implement automated data collection systems.
• Work with large-scale data within the media industry, leveraging Python to create robust and scalable solutions.
• Integrate AI-driven methodologies into data collection and processing workflows, optimizing automation and insights.
• Build and maintain backend services that automate data ingestion, transformation, and reporting.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous integration to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and updates to the system, supporting performance improvements and scaling efforts.
• Work cross-functionally with teams to meet project objectives and align with best practices in data science and AI.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in backend development.
• Experience collaborating with AI consultants or data scientists and integrating AI models into automation pipelines.
• Familiarity with data collection techniques, APIs, and processing of large datasets.
• Knowledge of AI frameworks or libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
• Experience working with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Experience in media industry projects is a plus but not required.

Project Details:

• Duration: 3 months with the option to extend based on performance.
