About the Role: The client, one of the world's leading FMCG brands, seeks a highly skilled Data Scientist with expertise in advanced marketing machine learning (ML) for mix models. This role involves leveraging sophisticated ML techniques to enhance the capabilities of marketing mix models (MMMs), enabling a deeper understanding of the impact of various marketing channels on business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement advanced ML models to optimize marketing mix strategies.
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to provide actionable insights into marketing performance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and data teams to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Design experiments and testing frameworks to validate the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in ML and data science to continuously improve models and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing ML models for marketing mix analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Strong background in statistical analysis and data manipulation.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with big data technologies and platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing services (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
