About the Role
The client seeks a skilled and detail-oriented Web Content Administrator with experience in Drupal, light frontend development, and website content input. The successful candidate will take over responsibilities from a transitioning team member and play a key role in ensuring the client’s custom-built website remains efficiently updated and well maintained.
This role goes beyond basic content entry and requires comfort working directly with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support content presentation and minor frontend tweaks. The ideal candidate will be proactive, comfortable collaborating with a wider team, and highly adaptable to custom components and tools within the client’s web environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Input, update, and manage content across a Drupal-based website
- Apply light frontend changes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Navigate and adapt to custom-built website components and modules
- Participate in daily team calls (English-speaking environment)
- Collaborate with the client’s internal teams using Jira for ticket and task tracking
- Ensure accuracy and functionality of content updates with minimal rejection/errors
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience working with Drupal in a content or website administration capacity
- Competence in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for making content-related code adjustments
- Strong understanding of website structures and component-based design
- Familiarity with Jira and agile-style task management tools
- Clear and fluent spoken and written English
- Availability for daily syncs and collaborative work in Eastern Standard Time (GMT-5)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on custom Drupal implementations
- Based in South America (to align with time zone and rate expectations)
Additional Information
- This is a remote-only role open to candidates anywhere with required availability in the EST time zone.
- The position is expected to be long-term, with a planned transition this month.
- Compensation is capped at £18 GBP/hour.
