Overview:
The client is seeking a skilled React Native developer to join a greenfield project focused on building a cross-platform application. This project involves creating a chat UI around a large language model (LLM) aimed at enhancing online child safety. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile development, particularly with React Native, and a keen interest in working on projects that make a positive social impact. The candidate should also be able to translate designs from Figma as close to pixel perfect as possible.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a cross-platform mobile application using React Native.
- Design and build a chat UI that integrates seamlessly with an LLM for online child safety.
- Collaborate with the client’s team to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to create user-friendly interfaces.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to optimize the performance of the application.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of React Native development, with a strong portfolio of mobile applications.
- Experience with chat applications or messaging services.
- Experience building apps using Typescript and Expo.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Experience deploying Expo applications and publishing them on Android/iOS app stores.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment.

Bonus:
- Background in projects involving large language models or AI/ML.
- Understanding of online safety protocols and issues related to child safety online.
