UX/UI Designer (Freelance, Remote — Anywhere)
Overview
The client seeks an experienced and creative UX/UI Designer to join Tribes Studio on a project-based, part-time basis, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time work. The designer will collaborate on a range of digital projects, contributing to user-centered design solutions and helping shape engaging, functional experiences across multiple platforms.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in designing user experiences for a variety of client projects. This includes creating wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs while ensuring usability and consistency across products. The designer will work closely with internal teams to bring concepts to life from idea through to execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes in Figma to illustrate design concepts.
- Conduct usability testing and apply feedback to refine the user experience.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to align on design goals.
- Translate user insights into intuitive, aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
- Contribute to the overall design system and maintain a consistent design language across projects.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in UX/UI design, ideally within digital agencies or startup environments.
- Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and interface design.
- Solid understanding of usability principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Demonstrable experience in usability testing and iterative design improvement.
- A strong design portfolio showcasing relevant project work (required for application).
