This is a hands-on, part-time contract with the possibility to scale to full-time based on impact and fit.

All roles are remote, and “remote” here explicitly means anywhere.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile ceremonies end-to-end: backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily standups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Partner with product and engineering leads to align goals, define scope, and prioritize work for incremental value delivery.
  • Maintain clear, prioritized backlogs; ensure ready, well-defined work enters sprints.
  • Track and communicate delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down/burn-up, cycle time) to drive continuous improvement.
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; facilitate resolution and transparent stakeholder updates.
  • Engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical groups; manage expectations and facilitate decision-making.
  • Coach teams in Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and adapt frameworks to the client’s context.
  • Foster high-quality collaboration, psychological safety, and a culture of iterative learning.

Required Experience & Skills

  • Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the judgement to adapt them pragmatically.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced, iterative environments.
  • Expertise in backlog grooming, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups.
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and expectation management across business and engineering.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation; able to translate business outcomes into delivery plans.
  • Proficiency with Agile tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps).
  • Strong risk management, prioritization, and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Comfortable with metrics-driven delivery (velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time).

Nice to Have

  • Experience scaling Agile across multiple squads or programs.
  • Exposure to product discovery practices and outcome-based roadmapping.
  • Background in digital product development environments.
