About the Project:

The client seeks a skilled Rust Developer to join Solistic Finance, a cutting-edge DeFi platform with a mission to redefine liquid staking and lending on the Solana blockchain. The platform empowers users to stake SOL while retaining liquidity for additional DeFi activities, such as lending, borrowing, and trading. The project roadmap includes advanced expansions to staking options and lending features. This is a full-time, one-year contract with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• Smart Contract Development: Design, develop, and maintain secure, high-performance smart contracts for liquid staking and lending markets using Rust and Anchor.

• Optimization: Address the specific performance and security needs of decentralized staking and lending mechanisms on Solana.

• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and stakeholders, to define and deliver impactful DeFi features.

• Coding Excellence: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code aligned with blockchain best practices, particularly for DeFi use cases.

• Continuous Learning: Stay updated on advancements in Solana blockchain and DeFi technology, bringing innovative ideas to enhance the platform.

• Technical Proposals: Proactively identify and propose solutions to improve platform efficiency, adoption, and user experience.

Requirements:

• Technical Expertise:

• Advanced proficiency in Rust, with deep knowledge of memory management, concurrency, and blockchain-specific practices.

• Demonstrable experience with Solana’s smart contract ecosystem, including frameworks like Anchor or Solana Program Library (SPL).

• Strong understanding of blockchain architecture, DeFi applications, and the Solana ecosystem.

• Domain Knowledge:

• Familiarity with Web3 concepts, DeFi lending protocols, and liquidity management on Solana.

• Hands-on experience with Solana clusters (Devnet, Testnet, Mainnet).

• Expertise in cryptographic principles and DeFi security practices to ensure reliable and safe financial interactions.

• Soft Skills:

• Problem-solving ability with independent task ownership.

• Strong English communication skills for both technical and non-technical collaboration.

Bonus Skills:

• Contributions to open-source blockchain projects.

• Familiarity with other DeFi ecosystems like Ethereum, Cosmos, or Polkadot.

• Front-end development experience with frameworks such as React or Vue.js.

• Knowledge of cross-chain solutions and blockchain interoperability.
