QA Specialist

Location: Remote from Anywhere

Duration: Permanent (part time- 10 hours/week)

Role Summary:

Tribes seeks a seasoned QA Specialist to address the critical need for enhanced quality assurance across their projects. This role will focus on both manual testing and the development of end-to-end (e2e) testing suites for websites and software applications. The ideal candidate will not only execute tests but also be capable of mentoring and elevating the team's overall QA skills.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct manual testing for web and software applications as needed, identifying bugs and issues for correction.
• Design, develop, and maintain e2e testing suites to ensure product readiness before release.
• Work closely with development teams to integrate QA processes into the development lifecycle.
• Provide QA training and mentorship to the development team, enhancing their understanding of testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with project managers and developers to identify testing requirements and ensure that testing scenarios and scripts meet those requirements.
• Continuously evaluate and recommend testing tools and methodologies to improve the testing process.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in QA, with a strong background in both manual testing and e2e test automation.
• Familiarity with a variety of testing tools and frameworks, with the flexibility to adapt to the team's needs.
• Experience in mentoring or training teams on QA best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
