About the Role
The client seeks an experienced Magento Developer for a short-term contract to support the final stages of an eCommerce project. This fully remote opportunity involves stabilising a Magento platform, fixing bugs, and assisting in project delivery. Candidates must be confident working independently in a fast-paced environment and able to deliver clean, tested Magento code with minimal onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Magento-based eCommerce platforms
• Debug and resolve complex application issues quickly and efficiently
• Build and customize Magento extensions and modules
• Collaborate remotely with other developers to complete project goals
• Ensure code quality, testing coverage, and proper documentation
• Adhere to timelines and budgets with minimal supervision

Skills & Experience Required

• Demonstrable experience as a Magento Developer
• Strong knowledge of PHP and MySQL
• Experience using Git for version control
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs
• Previous freelance or contract experience is advantageous
• Comfortable working autonomously in a distributed, remote team
• Experience working with digital agencies is a plus

Start Date: Targeting onboarding by W/C 21st July.
