Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Remote (Anywhere)

The client seeks an experienced QA Engineer to join their team, working remotely from any location. This role is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic project for a UK-based company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing, with a proven ability to work independently, even in environments where prior documentation is not available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform both manual and automated testing on various software products and systems.
• Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive test cases and test plans.
• Ensure software quality and functionality by identifying bugs, defects, and areas for improvement.
• Work closely with development and product teams to understand requirements and provide detailed testing feedback.
• Conduct exploratory testing and provide test reports that highlight the current status of the product's quality.
• Review and refine test strategies as needed, based on project needs and timelines.
• Adapt to situations where formal documentation is limited, independently identifying areas for testing.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in both manual testing and automated testing tools and frameworks.
• Strong attention to detail, ensuring high levels of quality across projects.
• Ability to independently write clear and comprehensive test cases, even without existing documentation.
• Good communication skills, particularly in providing feedback to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working remotely and independently, with excellent time-management skills.
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies.

Bonus Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration environments.
• Experience with testing in cloud-based applications.
