The client seeks an experienced Automation & CRM Developer to support the build, integration, and optimisation of their digital systems. This role focuses on leveraging HubSpot and automation tools to streamline workflows, improve data management, and enhance operational efficiency.
This is a fully remote role — remote means anywhere — offering flexibility alongside the opportunity to work on fast-moving, impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain automation workflows using tools such as ActivePieces, N8N, Zapier, or equivalent platforms
Develop and customise solutions within HubSpot CRM, including integrations and data workflows
Write and maintain clean, efficient code using HTML and JavaScript
Integrate third-party systems and APIs to ensure seamless data flow across platforms
Troubleshoot and optimise existing automation pipelines and CRM processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
Ensure systems adhere to best practices in data security and compliance
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong experience with HubSpot CRM
Hands-on experience with automation tools (ActivePieces, N8N, Zapier, or similar)
Proficiency in HTML and JavaScript
Experience building and managing integrations between platforms
Ability to work independently and deliver solutions quickly in a dynamic environment
Desirable Skills
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MySQL/MariaDB
Familiarity with NocoDB or similar tools
Knowledge of CSS and web styling
Experience with Nginx, SSH, and server configuration
Familiarity with HubL / JinJava / Jinja templating
Experience with containerisation tools such as Docker, Portainer, or Podman
Awareness of GDPR and data protection principles
Understanding of cybersecurity best practices

Able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding
Strong ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting

Engagement Details
Location: Fully remote (anywhere)
Contract Length: Initial 3-month placement, with the potential to extend
