Position: Senior Java Developer with React and Stripe experience
Duration: 3 months with possible prolongation

About the Client:
The client is a company that provides an online platform for booking beauty and wellness appointments. Serving the European market, they operate in cities like Amsterdam, Berlin, and London, and collaborate with over 25,000 salons and spas. Their payments team manages the payments platform, covering B2C Marketplace payments, B2B SaaS payments, and B2B partner invoicing, including marketplace commissions. This team is responsible for PSD2-compliant payment solutions built on Stripe/Stripe Connect.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain back-end services and occasionally cover front-end tasks using React.
- Integrate and manage Stripe/Stripe Connect payment platforms.
- Work with RabbitMQ or another message-broker software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams following Scrum methodologies.
- Maintain daily communication with English-speaking software engineers on the client-side.
- Work closely with teammates on the client side to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Back-end or Full-stack Java Engineer.
- Experience with Stripe/Stripe Connect payment platforms.
- Previous experience with RabbitMQ or another message-broker software.
- Familiarity with Scrum.
- Ability to occasionally handle front-end tasks using React (or other UI frameworks).
- Strong team player, ready to work closely with teammates on the client side.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of maintaining daily communication with English-speaking software engineers.
