Job Title: Remote Full-Stack Developer (Laravel & Vue.js, Project-Based Contract)

About the Role:

The client, a renowned UK-based SaaS company in the sports industry, is seeking an experienced Full-Stack Developer with expertise in Laravel and Vue.js for a project-based contract. You will play a key role in enhancing and scaling their sports management platform, a product designed to serve clubs, teams, and organizations worldwide. The initial project has a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable code, with the possibility of extending the contract based on the project’s success.

This is a fully remote role, allowing you to work from anywhere while contributing to a high-impact SaaS product in the sports industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and optimize the back-end architecture using Laravel, ensuring it aligns with business requirements.
• Design and implement dynamic, responsive front-end components using Vue.js, creating an intuitive user experience.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to support front-end functionality and integrate with third-party services.
• Ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end, collaborating with other developers on the team.
• Manage databases, optimize queries, and ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug to enhance performance, security, and scalability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, especially in Laravel and Vue.js, to bring innovative solutions to the platform.

Key Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in full-stack development, with a focus on Laravel (PHP) for back-end development and Vue.js for front-end.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience with modern front-end technologies such as Vue.js or React.js.
• Proven experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Expertise in MySQL or other relational databases, with a focus on query optimization and performance tuning.
• Experience working with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices in a team environment.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, with strong self-management and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English for seamless collaboration with international teams.

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience working on SaaS products, especially in the sports industry or related sectors.
• Knowledge of other front-end frameworks like React.js or Angular is a plus.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures, serverless architectures, and advanced DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile or similar fast-paced development environments.
