Power BI Developer for Major UK Retailer (Remote)

The client, a leading UK retailer, seeks an experienced Power BI Developer to join their existing team for a contract engagement. The role involves working closely with the client's business analyst (BA) to deliver key projects within the retail sector, focusing on data visualization and reporting solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Business Analyst to understand reporting requirements and specifications.
• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Work with large datasets to create meaningful and actionable insights for the business.
• Ensure data accuracy and quality in all reports delivered.
• Integrate Power BI solutions with existing systems and databases.
• Participate in team meetings and provide technical input on best practices and reporting improvements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Power BI Developer, particularly within retail or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and custom visualizations.
• Experience working with SQL databases and data modeling.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
