About the Role
The client seeks a Mid-Level QA Analyst to support regression testing across key areas of a web-based learning and administration platform. The role focuses on validating learner, admin, and commerce workflows; supporting user acceptance testing (UAT); and verifying system outputs such as exports, certificates, and licensing processes.
This is a remote-anywhere position suitable for a QA professional with hands-on experience creating and executing structured test cases, validating RBAC-driven functionality, and performing payment flow testing (especially with Stripe).
Responsibilities
The role involves:
Executing regression testing across learner, administrator, and commerce flows.
Creating and maintaining test cases, scripts, and structured test documentation.
Performing payments testing, including validation of end-to-end Stripe transactions.
Verifying RBAC (role-based access control) permissions and ensuring accurate access behaviour across user types.
Supporting UAT sessions, including test preparation, test scenario walkthroughs, defect triage, and stakeholder coordination.
Validating all export outputs, certificate generation processes, and licensing workflows.
Logging, tracking, and retesting defects in collaboration with development teams.
Providing clear QA reporting throughout the engagement.
Required Skills & Experience
Mid-level experience in web application QA.
Ability to design and execute detailed manual test cases and scripts.
Demonstrated experience with payments testing (Stripe preferred).
Strong understanding of RBAC models and permission testing.
Experience facilitating UAT with internal and external stakeholders.
Familiarity with validating structured system outputs (e.g., exports, certificates).
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote-anywhere environment.
Engagement Details
Start: Ramp-up 8–19 December 2025; full engagement begins 5 January 2026.
End: 4 May 2026.
Commitment: Part-time, totalling 14 working days across the engagement period.
Location: Remote — anywhere.
Budget: USD 15/hour.
