Senior SharePoint Developer (Remote - Anywhere)

Overview:

The client seeks a seasoned Senior SharePoint Developer to join their team in 2025 and take the lead on innovative projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to leverage their expertise in SharePoint, Azure, and the Microsoft 365 stack. The position is fully remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in strategic discussions to shape the function, design, and implementation of SharePoint projects.

• Provide accurate time estimates based on business requirements.

• Ensure all deliverables meet high-quality standards and are robustly developed.

• Develop and maintain SharePoint Online solutions using technologies such as Azure, TypeScript, C#, PowerShell, and React.

• Support a SharePoint file migration project across EMEA, enhancing file access, reducing storage costs, and improving user experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

Technical Expertise:

• Proficiency in Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies, particularly Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Intune.

• Deep knowledge of SharePoint Online development, including SharePoint Framework for SharePoint and Teams projects.

• Strong skills in PowerShell (5.x and 7.x), C#, .Net Framework, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.

• Experience with Azure tools such as logic apps, function apps, managed identities, alert rules, automation accounts, and webjobs.

• Familiarity with authentication methods, REST/MS Graph API, and adaptive cards/actionable messages.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of SQL development, Sharegate, Jest, and Selenium.

• Expertise in DevOps practices, including backlog maintenance, build and release pipelines, and Git.

• Experience deploying solutions via Azure Pipelines and working in an Agile environment.

• Bonus: Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, SharePoint security, and versioning models.
