Typescript React Developer

Project Overview:
The client is an early-stage startup operating within the EdTech industry, focusing on a responsive web application designed to provide accreditation for students' after-school and extracurricular activities. The application targets various platforms, including desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. To enhance their team, the client seeks an experienced Typescript React Developer with a strong background in translating Figma designs into functional, responsive code.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to understand the application's requirements and translate Figma designs into responsive, functional web pages.
• Develop and maintain the front-end aspect of the application using Typescript and React (Functional React with hooks).
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs while maintaining a keen eye for detail and design aesthetics.
• Work closely with back-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, working on a sprint-by-sprint basis.
• Implement and maintain high-quality code standards and practices.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Typescript and React development, with a proven track record of responsive web application projects.
• Strong proficiency in Functional React with hooks.
• A keen eye for design and detail, with the ability to translate Figma designs into high-quality code.
• Experience with the following technologies is considered a bonus: Postgres DB, Prisma, AWS (Amplify + Lambda), NextJS, Strapi CMS, TRPC, Zustand.
• Full-stack development experience is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

Engagement Details:

• The engagement will begin with securing a single developer to start on a weekly basis, with potential for extension based on project needs and performance.
