Job Description: Senior Developer (PHP/Full Stack)

Duration:  Initial contract with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance

Overview:
Based in Ireland, the client seeks a highly skilled senior developer with expertise in PHP and full-stack development to join their dynamic team. The role involves enhancing and scaling an existing practice management software for legal practices. The successful candidate will work closely with the client's  CTO and other team members to deliver high-quality features and improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new features for the client's practice management software.
- Maintain and improve existing codebase, ensuring clean, high-quality code.
- Collaborate with the team to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
- Engage in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
- Work with UI designers and project managers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
- Handle bug fixes and performance improvements based on user feedback.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and address any technical challenges.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in PHP development, particularly with Laravel.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, jQuery, Livewire, and Blade.
- Strong understanding of database design and management, particularly with MySQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with healthcare or practice management software.
- Familiarity with AI and automated systems for customer support and sales.
- Knowledge of additional back-end languages and frameworks.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
