Frontend Developer - React

Overview:
The client is a UK-based Investment Lab working on an exciting new product and seeking an experienced Frontend Developer skilled in React to integrate with backend APIs currently being developed. The role involves creating dynamic and responsive user interfaces that interact seamlessly with the backend services. This position is remote, allowing candidates to work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using React.
• Integrate frontend components with backend APIs developed by the backend team.
• Collaborate closely with the backend developer and the team working on a Word Add-on, ensuring that the frontend seamlessly communicates with the API.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in frontend development with React.
• Strong understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Ability to work independently and remotely, while coordinating effectively with a distributed team.
• Experience with integrating frontend applications with backend services.
• Knowledge of performance testing and optimization techniques.
