The Opportunity
The client seeks two experienced Business Analysts to support a major Acturis configuration and data migration initiative within the Singapore insurance market. These roles will play a key part in translating business requirements into system configuration and supporting end-to-end data migration and platform delivery.
This is a time-sensitive requirement, and the client is seeking strong profiles immediately.
While the role is remote (anywhere), candidates should be based in Singapore or willing to spend significant time there as required by the project.
Role Purpose
The Business Analyst will support Acturis configuration build and data migration delivery, working closely with engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure functional accuracy, high data quality, and successful deployment across UAT and production environments.
The role involves bridging business requirements with technical configuration, supporting migration validation, and ensuring smooth go-live and stabilisation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Acturis Configuration Support
Work with stakeholders to define and validate configuration requirements
Support configuration of:
Workflows and process logic
User roles and access profiles
Document templates
MI (management information) initial reports
Product and insurer configurations
Validate integration touchpoints (e.g., finance systems, reporting feeds)
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure functional accuracy
2. Data Migration & Mapping Oversight
Develop and validate data mapping templates
Support ETL and migration activities by ensuring business rules are correctly applied
Oversee transformation and cleansing of policy, billing, and claims data from Singapore sources
Validate iterative UAT loads and manage defect resolution
Support reconciliation processes for final production migration
3. Data Quality & Validation
Define transformation and validation rules
Perform record count checks, completeness reviews, and accuracy validation
Log and track data defects
Ensure reconciliation between source and target systems
4. Testing & UAT Support
Provide business validation during UAT
Investigate and troubleshoot configuration or migration-related issues
Work with engineering and platform teams to remediate defects
Support regression testing where required
5. Go-Live & Hypercare
Support final data loads and post-load reconciliations
Validate workflows and access controls prior to go-live
Assist with issue triage and stabilisation during hypercare
Skills & Experience Required
3–6 years’ experience working on insurance platforms or financial systems
Strong experience working with Acturis (configuration experience highly desirable)
Experience supporting data migration projects
Strong understanding of ETL processes and data transformation
Experience reconciling large datasets
Comfortable working with structured and unstructured legacy data
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
