Job Description: Back-End Developer (Remote - Anywhere)

The client seeks a skilled Back-End Developer to contribute to diverse projects, leveraging expertise in the Node.js framework (or any other widely used and popular back-end framework such as Django, Ruby on Rails, or Spring Boot, depending on your preference and experience). This role offers flexibility for contract work on an ad-hoc basis and potential for full-time opportunities, depending on availability and mutual alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project teams to design, develop, and deploy robust back-end systems tailored to client requirements.
• Ensure high-quality coding standards and implement scalable solutions using the chosen back-end framework.
• Work on various projects for clients in the FMCG sector across the UK, delivering tailored solutions for their business needs.
• Debug, test, and optimize applications for maximum speed and efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Node.js, Django, Ruby on Rails, Spring Boot, or another modern back-end framework.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL).
• Experience with API design and integration, including RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps tools is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.
