Our client is a leading retail services enterprise with over 50 years of global reach. The solutions the client provides aim to improve comprehensive business management and facilitate, optimize, and assist in the daily work of thousands of employees across several dozen countries.

We are assisting our client in building a secure PaaS cloud solution within the European Union. This solution prioritizes security, privacy, and compliance with EU regulations. It encompasses database services, virtualization, security controls, data and AI services, and the capability for quick adoption from existing cloud providers.

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional European teams to define, design, develop, and deliver new features, as well as optimize existing code.
- Explore, evaluate, and incorporate new technologies into products and processes to enhance development efficiency.
- Deliver quality software solutions using an Agile development cycle.
- Analyze and resolve performance, stability, and security issues.
- Improve automation testing skills based on project requirements.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of professional software development experience as a Go Engineer.
- Experience in microservices development.
- Proficiency in Kubernetes and writing k8s operators.
- Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL (pgx).
- Confidence in writing, testing, integration, and debugging.
- Understanding of security concepts and the ability to enforce them throughout development.
- Skills in gRPC and Pub/Sub (NATS).
- Clear communication of ideas in English during daily stand-up meetings.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud databases is a plus.
