Front-End Developer (Remote, Anywhere)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites on Shopify and WordPress platforms, ensuring functionality, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Collaborate closely with the design team to translate creative designs into pixel-perfect, high-quality front-end code.

• Customize and implement themes, plugins, and modules for Shopify and WordPress to meet client specifications.

• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and exceptional user experience.

• Ensure adherence to accessibility standards and perform regular updates to maintain site stability and security.

• Work with the development team to integrate APIs and other external tools as required.

• Stay informed on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development, eCommerce, and CMS platforms.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in front-end development with a portfolio showcasing Shopify and/or WordPress websites.

• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid and WordPress theme development.

• Solid understanding of responsive and mobile-first design principles.

• Experience with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS.

• Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.

• Familiarity with Git version control systems.

• A keen eye for design, layout, typography, and color, with the ability to interpret design mock-ups accurately.

• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD is a plus.

• Experience with additional platforms like WooCommerce, Squarespace, or Webflow is advantageous.
