CPA accountant

About the Role

We are a rapidly growing international tech company based in the UK, with worldwide customers and suppliers.  

We seek an experienced CPA Accountant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. Although part-time, this role will require daily reconciliations. You will manage your time, but will be required for occasional update calls during the UK working day. 

You will be responsible for all aspects of day to day bookkeeping and accounting, with accurate reconciliations and month end reporting. You will be proactive in helping the company develop new systems and information flows.  

You will need to have at least five years of experience, ideally with an early-stage company undergoing rapid growth. You will have the ability to work in an unstructured environment, where internal controls will evolve with the company. 

Key Responsibilities

• All aspects of bookkeeping and management accounting, including transactions, reconciliations and monthly reporting 
• Working with colleagues to develop new systems and internal controls
• Production of monthly project costing reports to manage the profitability of contracts
  
  
  
• Cashflow management 
• Credit control to ensure the timely payment of invoices.
  
  
  
• Multi-currency bank reconciliations 
  
  
  
• Ensuring standing data in systems is maintained 
• Preparation of ad hoc reports 
  
  
  

Requirements

• CPA Qualified accountant
• Five years of minimum experience in a similar role
  
  
  
• Good working knowledge of Xero is essential
• Good spoken and written English
• Experience of Wise payments, Approvalmax and Hubdoc a distinct advantage 
  
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
  
  
  
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently without supervision
  
  
  
• Effective communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and team members.
  
  
  

Contract & Working Arrangements

• Permanent, part-time role with daily involvement.
• Fully remote 
• Flexible working hours, output-focused
• You will work on a remote contract basis and be responsible for the remittance of Philippine taxes
