Shopify Plus Lead Developer (Remote - Anywhere)

The client seeks an experienced Shopify Plus Lead Developer to join their team in a lead development role. This is an ongoing position with opportunities for future growth within the team. The developer will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to multiple projects, focusing on both the customization of existing Shopify themes and the development of new components.

Key Responsibilities:

 • Lead multiple Shopify Plus projects, acting as a hands-on developer and project lead.

 • Collaborate with team members to design, develop, and implement new features and themes for Shopify Plus.

 • Customize and enhance existing themes based on project needs.

 • Ensure the seamless integration of third-party tools and services such as Plytix and Search Spring, or develop awareness and proficiency in these platforms.

 • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other developers on the team.

 • Maintain clear and strong communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

Required Qualifications:

 • Proven experience as a Shopify Plus Developer, with hands-on knowledge of theme customization and component creation.

 • Team lead experience in a technical or agency environment, with the ability to manage and mentor junior developers.

 • Strong English communication skills to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and project stakeholders.

 • Agency experience is highly preferred, demonstrating an ability to work on diverse client projects in a fast-paced environment.

 • Solid background in general web development, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.

 • Familiarity with Plytix and Search Spring or a willingness to learn these platforms quickly.

Availability:

 • The role requires a commitment of at least 15 hours per week for the next three months.

 • There is an opportunity for this role to evolve into a part-time or full-time team lead position at Tribes.
