Job Description:

As a Remote iOS Developer at our company, you will be integral to developing sophisticated iOS applications. Collaborating closely with our team of developers, designers, and product managers, you will help build scalable, high-performance iOS applications. Your proficiency in Swift and Objective-C will be crucial to driving our projects forward.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Work with external data sources and APIs to deliver seamless and responsive app functionalities.
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
• Debug and improve application performance.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code standards.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Requirements:

• Proven software development experience and iOS development skills.
• Strong knowledge of iOS SDK and different versions of iOS, including how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Expertise in Swift and Objective-C.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Strong knowledge of iOS UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of the open-source iOS ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
