PHP & Android Developer (Remote – Anywhere)

The client seeks a skilled PHP & Android Developer to support an existing project requiring backend and mobile application development. The application is built in Android (Java), and the backend is in PHP, so expertise in both technologies is essential.

Role Overview

The developer will be responsible for fixing bugs, implementing missing features, and maintaining the application. This is a client-facing role, so strong communication skills are required.

Key Responsibilities

• Debug and enhance the existing Android application (Java).

• Maintain and improve the PHP backend.

• Develop and implement missing features.

• Collaborate with the client to gather requirements and provide updates.

• Ensure the application’s stability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with PHP (backend development).

• Proven expertise in Android development (Java).

• Ability to debug and enhance existing applications.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills for direct client interactions.

Job Details

• Start Date: Immediate

• Commitment:

• Initial: Part-time, 20 hours/week for 8 weeks

• Ongoing: Part-time retainer role (10-20 hours/month)

• Location: Fully remote (anywhere)

• Working Hours: UK time zone
