Senior Cloud Engineer

Overview:

Tribes Studio seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to support our technical team on a part-time, freelance basis. This role requires expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, serverless architecture, Docker, and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing cloud infrastructure, managing deployments, and ensuring system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions on GCP and AWS

• Implement serverless computing and cloud-native best practices

• Manage Docker containers and CI/CD pipelines

• Optimize cloud infrastructure for scalability, performance, and security

• Collaborate with the technical team on DevOps strategies

• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues proactively

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in cloud engineering and DevOps

• Proven expertise with GCP, AWS, serverless architectures, and Docker

• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and automation

• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines

• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a technical team

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Details:

• Commitment: 10-12 hours per month
