Freelance DevOps Engineer (Part-Time, Remote, UK Working Hours)

Overview

The client seeks an experienced Freelance DevOps Engineer to support their infrastructure and cloud operations. This part-time role (5 hours per week) is ideal for a skilled DevOps professional looking to contribute to a dynamic team on a flexible basis. The role is fully remote, but candidates must be available during UK working hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support development workflows

• Monitor system performance, security, and scalability

• Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and provide solutions

• Automate deployment and infrastructure management processes

• Collaborate with developers to enhance DevOps practices

Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a cloud-based environment

• Strong expertise in AWS and Azure

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools

• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)

• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Availability to work 5 hours per week within UK business hours
