Senior Full-Stack PHP Developer – AI Interview & Coding Platform

Tribes seeks a PHP developer with strong Laravel and Filament experience to join the team building DevCheck® v3, the third version of our AI-powered developer evaluation platform. This system assesses candidates across hard skills, soft skills, and authenticity, incorporating AI-led interviews, live code challenges, GitHub-based scoring, and a domain-specific badging system.

The role requires hands-on full-stack development using Laravel and Filament, with integration of real-time video/audio streaming, Open AI, and frontend coding environments. This is a fully remote role, candidates can work from anywhere.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain AI-driven interview modules integrating video/audio streaming, transcription, and AI-based scoring.
• Develop a secure, web-based coding challenge environment with screen recording, version control, and code similarity analysis.
• Integrate GitHub APIs to evaluate developer activity including stars, contributions, and account metrics.
• Implement anti-cheating measures such as browser event monitoring, tab switching alerts, paste detection, and screen sharing supervision.
• Collaborate on soft skill and English proficiency assessments using NLP and large language models (LLMs).
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience with video/audio recording and streaming technologies (e.g., WebRTC, Mux).
• Proficiency in both frontend and backend web development, including the creation of custom IDE environments.
• Demonstrated ability to integrate large language models (e.g., OpenAI APIs) into application workflows.
• Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques to tailor AI behavior for assessment and analysis use cases.

Nice-to-Have's

• Familiarity with GitHub API for user activity tracking and metric aggregation.
• Knowledge of data privacy and encryption standards (AES-256), with experience ensuring GDPR/CCPA compliance.
