React Developer (Mid/Senior)

The client seeks a skilled Front-End Developer (Mid/Senior) to join their fast-paced, collaborative, and multi-disciplinary team. The ideal candidate will excel in both technical expertise and effective communication, working seamlessly with non-technical team members to deliver user-facing applications. The role involves developing web and desktop applications, with a particular focus on an Electron-based desktop application.

This position offers the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in the world on a full-time, 2-year contract.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain an Electron-based desktop application using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Node.js.

• Build and optimize the user-facing components of web applications with a focus on performance and usability.

• Collaborate closely with a small, diverse team that includes developers, data scientists, and doctors.

• Communicate effectively with non-technical team members to align on project goals and expectations.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with modern front-end development technologies such as Redux, HTML5, and CSS3.

• Strong understanding of Node.js.

• Experience building user interfaces for both web and desktop applications.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-moving and collaborative team environment.
