About the Role:
The client seeks a detail-oriented Senior Agile Tester to join their Product team. This role is critical to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions for a platform used by some of the world’s largest retailers. The Agile Tester will collaborate closely with developers and product managers, focusing on testing, quality assurance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and test plans to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Conduct manual and automated testing across front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with the development team to identify, track, and resolve bugs and issues.
• Perform regression, functional, and exploratory testing.
• Advocate for quality in every stage of the software development lifecycle.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Maintain and improve the testing framework and processes to align with industry best practices.
• Provide regular reports on testing progress and quality metrics.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in software testing, preferably within Agile teams.
• Strong experience with manual and automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit).
• Proficiency in API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Experience testing web applications and understanding of web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests into the build process.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and document issues effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
